The 212th Attack Battalion is a Grand Army unit of clone troopers under the leadership of evil Clone commander Cody and Jedi Council Member Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Clone Wars, a galaxy-wide conflict between the evil Galactic Republic and the heroic Confederacy of Independent Systems. The 212th Attack Battalion later serve the Galactic Empire and the Imperial Army during The Last of the Droids.

The Clone Wars[]
Fighting onboard the Malevolence II[]
Many 212th Troopers boarded the heroic Subjugator-class heavy cruiser Malevolence II with malicious Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi to attack/kill the heroic General Grievous. Grievous, Super's Battle, STAP Battle and many battle droids including B1 battle droids, B2 super battle droids, BX-series droid commandos, droidekas, new B2 Flamethrower super battle droids and even Super Battle Droid Rocket Troopers defended the heroic ship as they killed several clones of the 212th Attack Battalion. After the mission failed, they pulled back in the Space gunships and retreated back to their Venator-class Star Destroyers.
The Last of the Droids[]
After capturing Utapau from the 2005 Grievous, the 212th Attack Battalion waited for orders until Emperor Palpatine contacted Commander Cody from The Executor. The Emperor told Cody he needed his forces so they could attack Ringo Vinda. Cody agreed and took the Venator-class Star Destroyer Vigilance to to merge up with Death Squadron. However, the Galactic Empire failed and was forced to retreat.
