A Confederate Outpost or a CIS Outpost and also called a CIS mobile command center was a base used by the Confederacy of Independent Systems during the Clone Wars era. They were usually carried onboard C-9979 Landing Crafts and are unloaded. They carry a complement of 3 or more Armored Assault Tanks and Dwarf Spider Droids. After the Clone Wars was over, the outposts make a comeback for the New Confederacy of Independent Systems during The Last of the Droids era now called New Confederate Outposts.
