The Core Five is a group of 5 Muun leaders that oversaw the InterGalactic Banking Clan during the Clone Wars. They are led by Clu Lesser, who later joined the New Confederacy of Independent Systems after he refused to join the Galactic Empire.

History[]

The Galactic Empire arrived to control Scipio, trapping the Core Five in the Main Vault and forcing them to agree to their terms. When New IGBC Leader Clu Lesser refused to join, Imperial Admiral Kassius Konstantine attacked Lesser and he was forced to contact a Confederate holdout which turned out to be Trench's holdout. Scipio was then put under control of the New CIS and Trench took Lesser with to fight The Last of the Droids war, while the Core Five remained on Scipio.
