Daan is a female human naval Lieutenant in the Confederate Navy. During the Clone Wars, Daan was part of the crew of the Starcrusher battleship. During the malicious Jedi infiltration of the mock-Starcrusher, Daan was left behind by the crew on the trap and was made to cooperate with the Jedi in order to survive.
She helped the Jedi Knights find spacesuits and determine the coordinates to the reactor core on the real Starcrusher. While the rest of the crew were killed when both Starcrushers were pulled into a star, Daan escaped alive with the Jedi. When she & the Jedi villains returned to Coruscant, Daan managed to escape the villains and return to the Separatists, serving in the Navy once again.
In 20 BBY, she learns of the capture of Grievous due to Count Dooku broadcasting a Galaxy-wide Separatist transmission to the members of the CIS. Daan then decided to help the heroic Grievous with his cousin Super's Battle and took her Munificent-class star frigate to Sector 11.
She continued to serve in Confederate Navy until the end of the war and then joined the New Confederacy of Independent Systems and its Navy
Personality[]

Daan serves the Separatist New Order with pride. She was worried and upset when Kirst left her for dead on the Starcrusher and was forced to work with the Jedi villains so she would survive, though she stated she would be a traitor if she hurt the Separatists, proving her loyalty to the heroic CIS cause. However, the evil Obi-Wan Kenobi explained that Kirst was going to let her die for the test of the weapon and Daan agreed to help the villains to escape. Daan also was concerned for the heroic General Grievous when he was captured by the evil Jedi and was happy to be part of the rescue mission of the heroic Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies[1]. She is very courageous as well, willing to attack a Jedi with her blaster without help. Daan also was upset at the fact that she commanded a Munificent-class star frigate instead of a larger CIS Warship but later realized Commander of STAPs STAP Battle commanded a Munificent-class frigate of his own, making her feel a bit better.
