Kyber crystals are special crystals. Grievous was searching for them one as the Confederacy of Independent Systems needed for an ultimate superweapon. Rias Gremory and her team had one on Earth. They were used widely for Jedi lightsabers, but the Galactic Empire confiscated them and uses them now for Project Celestial Power and Project Stardust.
