This short story also shows the Jedi are not the heroes during the Clone Wars era in Star Wars Canon and Legends as many people think they're "heroes" because they are portrayed as such but forget or overlook the evil actions they did in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the comics and events that happened off-screen such as Grievous's people getting killed for no reason. This just goes to show you that the Jedi are bad guys and villainous and not heroic like Grievous and other CIS Armed Forces members in the Canon of Star Wars.
The Battle on Fondor in "Malicious Sisters" is similar to the Battle of Umbara when the Umbarans left the evil Republic and the Jedi villains just launched an invasion forcing the heroic Confederacy of Independent Systems to intervene, proving this is not "out of the character" for the Jedi's villainy in Canon.
