Naboo is a planet located near the Outer Rim Territories and the sector capital of the Chommell Sector. A world with mostly large plains, swamps and seas, it was home to many historical figureheads who played major roles in the fall of the Galactic Republic and the rise of the Galactic Empire, namely Emperor Palpatine. It was the home to a Level 5 Republic Space Station protected by a massive fleet of Jedi cruisers and Victories. It is also home to an Imperial naval fleet, which the New Confederacy of Independent Systems encountered in 18 BBY during the The Last of the Droids era.
