- "Of course he did! The General can't beat Dooku, he's just a droid like us!"
- ―This driver droid to his co-pilot about Grievous after the Duel in Dooku's palace
A Driver battle droid was stationed on the bridge of the Separatist Subjugator-class heavy cruiser, the Malevolence II, under command of the heroic Grievous. In 20 BBY, this droid participated in the Attack on the Naboo Shipyards. After Grievous headed to kill Dooku, Sidous told the hero not to and Grievous returned to his flagship. However, this droid insulted Grievous saying he couldn't beat Dooku because he was a "droid" (when Grievous is a cyborg hero) and he was destroyed by Grievous Hero. He was then replaced by another driver battle droid.
