Yellow IG-100 MagnaGuards or Yellow MagnaGuards are modified IG-100 MagnaGuards used as Count Dooku's personal bodyguards during Clone Wars era. Yellow MagnaGuards are very dangerous to the Galactic Republic. They will shock you with their yellow Electrostaffs and they also carry RD-4 grenade launchers just like the regular MagnaGuard.

As Dooku's personal bodyguards, Yellow MagnaGuards are loyal to their leader and never disobey his orders but still serve the heroic Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies Grievous as he controls all droids in the CIS Armed Forces.. They have yellow Electrostaffs that are more dangerous than the regular Electrostaffs used by MagnaGuards. Just like the IG-100 MagnaGuard, they can still fight without their head. Yellow IG-100 MagnaGuards can also carry RD-4 grenade launchers to attack the enemy.

They were seen with Count Dooku at his palace during the Box and later seen again with Count Dooku when he lured the evil Jedi Anakin Skywalker into a trap. The Yellow MagnaGuards were able to defeat Anakin and later tortured the villain to let Grievous the hero free.

They appeared yet again under Dooku during the Duel in Dooku's palace about to aid Count Dooku but realized Grievous is the Supreme Commander of the Droid Armies and decided not help the villainous Count.

Trivia

• Since these MagnaGuards are stronger, it was unknown why Grievous Hero didn't use these as his personal bodyguards instead of the normal IG-100 MagnaGuards.
  • However, in TLOTD, Grievous & Trench get them after Dooku's death.
